Account & Data Deletion

Users of Nutrition Tracking App can request deletion of their account and all associated data using either of the methods described below. This page is provided to satisfy platform requirements and to give you clear instructions on how your data is handled when you choose to leave.

Option 1: Delete Your Account in the App

You can delete your account directly within the Nutrition Tracking App by following these steps:

  1. Open the app and make sure you are logged in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab — tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen. Below the "Log Out" button, tap "Delete Account".
  4. Step 1 — Select a reason: Choose why you are leaving (e.g., "Not using the app anymore," "Privacy concerns," etc.). Some options ask for additional detail. Tap "Continue".
  5. Step 2 — Review consequences: Read what will happen to your data (food logs, weight history, subscription, etc.). Tap "Delete Account" to proceed.
  6. Step 3 — Verify your identity:
    • Email/password users: Enter your password and type DELETE in the confirmation field.
    • Google sign-in users: Tap "Sign in with Google" to re-authenticate, then type DELETE.
    • Apple sign-in users: Tap "Sign in with Apple" to re-authenticate, then type DELETE.
    Tap "Delete My Account".
  7. Final confirmation: A popup asks "Are you absolutely sure?" — tap "Delete My Account".
  8. Done. You will see a confirmation that deletion has been scheduled. Tap "OK" and you will be logged out.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

Send an email to info@nutritiontrackingapp.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Please include the full name and email address associated with your account so we can locate and process your request.

We will verify your identity and process the deletion. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been scheduled for deletion.

What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained after account deletion in the following cases:

Retention Period & Timing

30-day grace period: After you request deletion, your account is not deleted immediately. You have 30 days to change your mind by simply logging back in, which will cancel the deletion.

After 30 days: All personal data, food logs, weight history, and nutrition data are permanently and irreversibly deleted.

Active subscriptions: Any active subscription will be cancelled as part of the deletion process.
